Dear Yvonne, As you were aware my wife left me a list of jobs to do. The main one was to choose new curtains and a sofa. A horrible dilemma for me as I was never sure what would come first. Choose the curtains to go with the furniture or vice versa. A recipe for disaster as far as I was concerned.
However, asking you to handle the whole project of designing the sitting room environment and choice of colours for the remainder of the house was a good move. Your choice of curtain material was exactly what my wife would have chosen. The furniture and coverings are superb and the room doesn't look like a recording studio? Which could so easily have been my choice.
Praise from my two daughters that Mum would have approved is testimony to a project handled with care and delivered on budget.
